College Hub

The mission of the College Hub is to support those who face barriers to higher education and career readiness, so that all students in Central Texas have the tools to realize their goals – from application to graduation and beyond.
The College Hub is the only place in Austin where all prospective and current college students can receive free help in their journey toward a credential or degree. Work one-on-one with a coach to:

  • Apply for college and enroll in classes
  • Explore different colleges, majors and careers
  • Develop a plan for getting into and through college
  • Complete financial aid and scholarship applications
  • Plan for your next job search, build a resume or cover letter
Whatever it is you need, we’re here to help you succeed! All of our services are free and open to the public. The College Hub is a proud member of NCAN, CAEL, and CenTexCAN.

Financial Aid and College Coaching

Our college coaches can help you apply for financial aid – including providing support with completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA). Coaches can also help answer questions, provide help with verification paperwork, review your financial aid package and help make plans to pay for school.

Financial aid priority deadlines vary by school. Check-in with a coach at the College Hub to find out more.

Beyond Financial Aid

Whether you are interested in a 4 year or 2-year degree, technical school or trade school, come see us to explore your educational options. Our college coaches can help you navigate the college admissions process, search and apply for scholarships, map out a path to graduation, and connect with resources.

The College Hub offers appointments virtually and in-person at both our North and South Prosper Centers. See the section below for more information about our two locations.
