College Hub

Our goal at the College Hub is to support those who face barriers to higher education and career readiness, so that all students in Central Texas have the tools to realize their goals – from application to graduation and beyond.

The College Hub is the only place in Austin where all prospective and current college students can receive free help in their journey toward a credential or degree. Work one-on-one with a college coach to apply for college, enroll in classes, explore degree pathways, and complete financial aid and scholarship applications. Whatever it is you need, we’re here to help you succeed!

The financial aid application for the 2022-2023 school year opens on October 1, 2021. The financial aid priority deadline for many Texas schools will be mid-January 2022.

Our bilingual, tax-certified team of college coaches can help you apply for and manage financial aid – including provide support in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) – as well as verification paperwork. We can also help you review your financial aid package and make sure you have a plan to pay for school.

Beyond financial aid, come see us to explore your educational options, navigate the college admissions process, search and apply for scholarships, map out a path to graduation, and connect with resources across Foundation Communities and in the community. We understand that postsecondary education looks different for each student, and we are here to help you create a plan for accomplishing your goals.
