Donation wish list
Here are some of our most needed items frequently requested by residents:
Technology for Learning Center students
Our Learning Center programs have long leveraged Google Chromebooks and i-Ready literacy software for our students. Since March 2020, we have worked to provide students and their families with these technologies in their homes. Providing Chromebooks and i-Ready, along with free WIFI access whenever possible, helps ensure students and parents alike can receive and share information, continue learning and reading, and remain socially connected in times of isolation.
Chromebooks offer a portable option to access remote learning and remain connected to friends and family.
i-Ready offers literacy-focused lessons on vocabulary and reading comprehension, as well as access to a wide variety of reading materials that students can access at home.
NEXT STEPS: We are looking for donations to purchase additional Chromebooks ($275 each) and i-Ready licenses ($30 each) to ensure every single student in our Learning Centers has access to these resources.
Household items & hygiene staples for residents
Our residents have ongoing needs for simple household items such as dish soap, laundry detergent and anti-bacterial surface wipes, as well as hygiene staples like hand and body soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, toilet paper, paper towels, and feminine hygiene products.
