Important Dates:
  • November 18 – Sign up deadline to be matched before Thanksgiving.

    December 7 – Sign up deadline extended.

    December 7-10, 12-13 – Delivery appointments available.


Step 1: Complete your Sponsor Sign Up Form.

Step 2: Get Matched

Please allow up to 3 business days to receive your match. Once we match you with a household, you will receive an email with basic information about the family along with their wish list. Add to your safe sender list and keep an eye on your spam folder to ensure you receive this important email. Households will be notified that they have received a sponsor for the holidays.


Step 3: Shop for Gift Cards

Here are our guidelines:
Please purchase new gift items. You are not expected to provide everything on the list. On average, you can expect to spend about $50 – $100 per family member.
Please do not purchase more than $200 in gift items per person. Please contact Foundation Communities if you have a special request to exceed this amount.
If donating gift cards:
o Ensure with the store that your gift card is loaded with your selected amount before delivery.
o Write the gift card amount on the card.
o Enclose gift cards in a separate envelope labeled with the family ID and total gift card amount.
Please do not wrap gifts for children; this way, parents will know what their kids are receiving and can enjoy wrapping gifts for their family. Sponsors may include wrapping supplies with their donation. You may wrap gifts for adults.
Print and complete the Donation Receipt Form (PDF) for each household.


Step 4: Deliver your Gifts:

All deliveries will be accepted by appointment between December 7 and December 13. Specific dates and times vary by property. Saturday deliveries are available at certain properties, but not all. Delivery is not available on Sunday.
• Specific delivery instructions and appointment schedules will be provided to you once you are matched to a family. Plan to schedule your delivery appointment by December 7. We are anticipating over 400 sponsors this year, and your advanced planning is appreciated to ensure all runs smoothly.
• Deliveries will be made to property staff at designated property drop-off locations, not directly to resident’s homes. We appreciate your understanding our responsibility to uphold client confidentiality and maintain trust.
Download our In-Kind Donation Receipt Form here. Turn this form in at your delivery. Save a copy for yourself as this will serve as your charitable donation receipt for your 2022 tax return. This form is required for our accounting purposes.
