The Digital Equity Program bridges the digital divide by offering services and resources to Foundation Communities residents and the broader community. The program aims to empower individuals with the skills and tools needed to thrive in a digital world.
Digital Equity includes:
- Basic Computer Classes – Monthly classes are held across various Foundation Communities apartment complexes. They are designed to provide hands-on experience in developing skills such as internet navigation, computer components and email functions. These classes cater to those new to computers or those looking to strengthen their existing skills.
- Partnerships with Area Organizations – The program actively collaborates with local organizations to bring digital technology and resources to residents and the community. These partnerships enhance the reach and impact of the program, providing valuable tools and opportunities to those who may otherwise lack access.
Through these initiatives, Foundation Communities works to create a more inclusive digital landscape for all.
