Family Preparedness Project

The Family Preparedness Project was created to give families a legally binding plan of action in the event that parents are unable to care for their households.

By providing a trusted adult with power of attorney to care for your children or look after your assets, you can ensure everything is in place in case of your unexpected absence.

Please note that the person you wish to designate as power of attorney must be a U.S. Citizen. During the appointment, you, your spouse (if applicable) and the person you wish to designate as POA will need to be present for the entirety of the appointment.

Documents Needed: All parties are required to have a picture ID. This can be a driver’s license, a state ID card, or a passport. If you are unsure if you possess an appropriate ID, please call us at 737-717-4000.
