Due to the COVID-19 crisis, Prosper Health Coverage is currently offering remote assistance only.

Though we are not available in person, we are available by phone appointment to assist new clients with determining their eligibility for health insurance and financial assistance through the federal health insurance Marketplace. Phone appointments are also available for clients with any questions or updates to their Marketplace coverage.

YEAR ROUND HEALTH COVERAGE ASSISTANCE

Open enrollment for 2020 Marketplace health insurance was November 1 to December 15, 2019.

If you weren’t able to sign up during open enrollment, you may qualify to enroll in a 2020 plan if you have a qualifying life event, such as:

  • An involuntary loss of health insurance
  • A move
  • Release from incarceration
  • Having a baby or getting married
  • Gaining eligible immigration status

If you were able to enroll in a 2020 plan, we are available year-round to assist with your Marketplace application and your Marketplace health insurance plan.  For example, contact us if you need help finding a doctor, understanding a bill, or making changes or updates to your Marketplace account.

Our team of experts is available by appointment from January through October.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU

–Your Marketplace username and password

-An estimate of your income for the year you are applying

-Name, date of birth and social security information for all applying

-Immigration document information for all applying, if applicable.

-Details and cost of health insurance offered by your/your spouse’s employer(s)

-Names of your doctors, clinics, hospitals and medications

We have no income or geographic restrictions. All are welcome!

Since 2014, our program has helped nearly 30,000 people access financial assistance and enroll in health insurance plans created by the Affordable Care Act.
